1. Platform Purpose & Content Scope
DoBags is a dedicated social platform for bag enthusiasts. All content shared on this platform must be directly related to bags, luggage, and accessories.
Permitted Content: Bag reviews, product showcases, styling tips, brand discussions, collection displays, care guides, and other bag-related topics.
Prohibited Content: Any content not related to bags or luggage is strictly prohibited. This includes but is not limited to: unrelated fashion items, electronics, food, politics, adult content, weapons, drugs, gambling, and any other non-bag-related subjects. Violating content will be removed without notice, and repeated violations may result in account suspension.
2. Prohibition of Counterfeit & Fake Products
DoBags maintains a zero-tolerance policy toward counterfeit, replica, or fake products. Users are strictly prohibited from:
- Posting, promoting, or selling counterfeit or replica bags
- Intentionally misrepresenting the authenticity, brand, or origin of any product
- Using fake logos, trademarks, or branding to deceive other users
- Sharing links or directing users to websites selling counterfeit goods
- Providing instructions or resources for manufacturing counterfeit products
Important: DoBags does not verify the authenticity of products posted by users. We rely on community reporting and reserve the right to remove any content suspected of promoting counterfeit goods. Users who repeatedly violate this policy will be permanently banned.
3. Prohibition of False & Misleading Advertising
Users must not engage in false, deceptive, or misleading practices. Specifically prohibited:
- Making false claims about product quality, materials, or craftsmanship
- Posting fabricated reviews or testimonials
- Using edited or manipulated images that misrepresent the actual product
- Claiming official brand partnerships or sponsorships without authorization
- Advertising products at prices that are not honored or are bait-and-switch schemes
- Posting misleading "before/after" comparisons or unrealistic results
- Using clickbait titles or descriptions that do not match the actual content
Business accounts must clearly disclose any paid partnerships, sponsored content, or affiliate relationships in accordance with applicable advertising regulations.
4. User Responsibility & Risk Acknowledgment
All users acknowledge and agree that:
- DoBags is a user-generated content platform and does not endorse, verify, or guarantee the accuracy, quality, or authenticity of any content posted by users
- Users are solely responsible for verifying the authenticity, condition, and suitability of any product before making a purchase decision
- Any transaction, purchase, or exchange arranged between users is conducted at their own risk
- DoBags is not a party to any transaction between users and assumes no liability for disputes, fraud, or unsatisfactory transactions
- Users must exercise independent judgment and due diligence when evaluating products, sellers, or claims made on the platform
Disclaimer: DoBags does not provide buyer protection, escrow services, or transaction mediation. Users engaging in commercial activities through the platform do so entirely at their own risk. We strongly recommend using secure payment methods and verified marketplaces for all purchases.
5. User Conduct & Community Standards
All users must adhere to the following community standards:
5.1 Respectful Interaction
- Treat all community members with respect and courtesy
- No harassment, bullying, hate speech, discrimination, or personal attacks
- No doxxing or sharing private information of others without consent
5.2 Intellectual Property
- Users may only post content they own or have permission to share
- Respect trademarks, copyrights, and other intellectual property rights
- Do not use watermarked images from other platforms without permission
5.3 Spam & Abuse
- No spam, repetitive posting, or excessive self-promotion
- No creating multiple accounts to manipulate engagement metrics
- No using bots, scripts, or automated tools to interact with the platform
6. Account Types & Verification
DoBags offers three account types:
- Consumer: Individual users sharing personal collections and reviews
- Influencer: Content creators with established following, subject to review
- Business: Brands, retailers, and manufacturers, subject to verification
Business accounts must provide accurate business information and may be required to submit verification documents. Misrepresenting account type may result in account termination.
7. Content Moderation & Enforcement
DoBags reserves the right to:
- Remove any content that violates these Terms of Service without prior notice
- Suspend or terminate accounts for repeated or serious violations
- Report illegal activity to appropriate law enforcement authorities
- Use automated and manual review processes to enforce these terms
- Update these terms at any time; continued use constitutes acceptance
Users may report violations through the platform's reporting system. All reports are reviewed, but DoBags is not obligated to take action on every report.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- DoBags is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind
- DoBags is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
- DoBags' total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by the user to DoBags in the preceding 12 months (or $100 if no payment was made)
- DoBags is not responsible for service interruptions, data loss, or technical failures
9. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If unresolved, disputes shall be submitted to binding arbitration in San Francisco, California.
